To know more about this new features we invite you to get a look at our latest video on our YouTube Channel: the Video Tutorials are good for Linux, but the same settings will work also for Windows! It will show you how to use it and how to configure your browsers (We used and tested Mozilla Firefox and Chrome)

ACCESSING ECNET VPN

You can access the ECnet VPN in 2 different ways. The most and innovative thing is that you can access it by using our Tor Hidden Service server without running any Tor Software!!! In fact our client includes it-self the bridge to access the Tor!

Download the Client

First of all, you need to download the ECnet client. You can select between 2 different clients: the normal client (client.ovpn) and the Tor client (client.ovpn.tor), you can download the client here(download the client for your OS (For Android you can use the Linux client):

Windows with the OpenVPN client

It is possible to access ECnet through a common VPN client, among the most famous, we recommend:

--> OpenVPN: openvpn.net - it's free

Once installed you need to import the client to connect.

Linux with the OpenVPN Client

sudo apt-get install openvpn

After installation, assuming that your .conf file as well as the certificates are in a Desktop folder (which we will call ecnet) the path should be:

/ home / user (your username) / Desktop / ecnet

just open a terminal and type:

cd /home/user/Desktop/ecnet

sudo openvpn ecnet.ovpn &

To verify that everything went well, always from the terminal type:

sudo ifconfig

The tunnel "tun0" or "tun1" should appear (the latter if you are already using another openvpn instance).

VPN Details
